Undercover Guilford police officers arrested a 30 year old Guilford man for attempting to entice a 15 year old boy.
Robert W. Streitweiser, of South Hoop Pole Drive, was arrested early Sunday morning by Guilford police and charged with attempted use of a computer to entice a Minor, and attempted risk of injury/impairing the morals of children. He was held on a $20,000 bond.
According to police, Streitweiser contacted a party using the internet, believing it was a 15 year old boy. The police investigation revealed that Streitweiser was planning on meeting the child in the early morning hours on Sunday, prompting police surveillance.
When he arrived, Streitweiser was taken into custody without incident.
Streatweiser was arraigned Tuesday morning.
